Delhi Fire Department

Your fire millage dollars in action

You can literally see your fire millage dollars in action with a new Delhi Township Fire Department video demonstrating the department’s new, state-of-the-art power loader cot. The cot, funded with the 2018 fire equipment and vehicle millage, is used to load patients into an ambulance in emergency situations. The device lifts the legs of the cot into the ambulance, cutting down on transport time and physical stress on our dedicated EMS workers. Thank you, Delhi Township, for making such a critical safety investment in your community!

Verify your property information online!

The Assessing Department works diligently to ensure fair property taxes across Delhi Township. However, property assessments are best when our office has the most accurate information!  To assist in this effort, homeowners are encouraged to verify their property information by completing this quick questionnaire online here.  Once complete, the form will be emailed directly to the Assessor.  Thank you for assisting us in providing fair and equitable property assessments!
Valhalla Park

New video highlights Township's premier summer recreation destination

The Delhi Township Parks & Recreation Department has released a new video highlighting Valhalla Park. The 45-acre park, located at the corner of Keller and Pine Tree roads, is Delhi Township’s largest park and offers the most amenities and activities of the township’s trail system. The video features the park’s beach, lake, pond, nature trail, picnic area, playground, swimming and fishing areas, and more. Recent upgrades at the park were made possible by Michigan Department of Natural Resources grants and the generosity of voters who passed the 2018 parks, trails and recreation millage. Delhi Township will partially use millage dollars for planned restroom upgrades by the softball diamonds. With summer finally here, bring the whole family to Valhalla Park today!

BWL smart meters billing change

With the recent conversion to smart meters, your Lansing Board of Water & Light sewer bills will look a bit different. The smart meters read water consumption in CCF’s to the hundred’s place rather than rounding up to a whole number. Since Delhi sewer bills are calculated based on the BWL’s meter reading, you will notice a change to our monthly sewer calculation. For example, if your former bill would read 8 CCF’s, it may now read 7.98 CCF’s. More info can be found at www.lbwl.com/new-bill.
