The Delhi Parks and Recreation Department has announced the 24th Annual Delhi Township Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on December 4, 2019. There will be activities for the entire family to enjoy taking place at Veterans Memorial Gardens, the Holt-Delhi Library and the Holt Farmers’ market including musical performances by the Holt High School Santa Band and Choir, and appearance by Santa Claus, and more.
Veterans Memorial Gardens
Activities will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with a welcome by Delhi Township Supervisor John Hayhoe. The welcome will be followed by a flag ceremony and Pledge of Allegiance led by Girl Scout Troops 30239 and 30181.
The Holt High School Choir and Santa Band will perform several musical selections for attendees to enjoy and sing along.
The community tree will be lit by Sycamore Elementary 4th grader Faith McGarry and Wilcox Elementary 3rd grader Everett Provenzano.
Following the tree lighting, the Holt High School Santa Band will perform Santa Claus is Coming to Town and Santa Claus will make an appearance!
Holt-Delhi Library CADL Open House
The Holt-Delhi Library will host its annual open house, featuring live reindeer, refreshments, children’s crafts and holiday music from 7-9 p.m.
Holt Farmers’ Market
The Holt Farmers’ Market will also host an open house featuring refreshments, live music and door prize giveaways. The open house will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
