All eligible and registered Michigan voters can now
request to vote from home without explanation

Everything you need toknow about no reason absentee voting in Delhi Township

Following the passage of Proposal 3 in November of 2018, all
registered and eligible Michigan voters can now request absentee ballots forall elections without providing an explanation. 

 “It’s now easier than ever to request a mail-in ballot and vote from home in Delhi Township,” said Evan
Hope
, Delhi Township Clerk. “Voting from home will eliminate waiting inline and surprises at the polls by giving you more time to research everything
on the ballot in advance.”  

There are three ways interested Delhi Township voters canrequest to be added to the township’s Automatic Application List to vote from
home (Automatic Application List):

·        Sign up online here

·        Email the Delhi Township Clerk’s Office

·        Call (517) 694-2135

Onceadded to the Automatic Application List, you'll receive a ballot application
for every election. However, you must return the ballot application in order toreceive your mail-in ballot. 

After
returning the ballot application, you will receive your mail-in ballot as soonas they are available.

 Mail-in ballots are processed in a way that preserves a secret
ballot just like voting at the polls.

All mail-in ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on election day inorder to be counted. Every mail-in ballot is accounted for in the same way as
ballots cast in person. 

Mail-in ballots are counted on Election Day.
