First, it’s not too late to register to vote, but you must do so in person at the Clerk’s Office. You will need to bring proof of residency like a valid driver's license, utility bill, bank statement or paycheck. You can register until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
If you prefer to vote in the comfort of your own home, you can get an absentee ballot. Apply online or apply in the Clerk’s Office. If you want an absentee ballot mailed to you, please apply as soon as possible (November 4, by 5:00 p.m. is the deadline, but that might be too late for the mail). And remember that your ballot must be received by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Mail it back to the Clerk’s Office as soon as possible to make sure it gets there on time. Or use the Township dropbox to avoid any delays in the mail. The secure, drive-up drop box is available 24/7 and is located at the Township Offices at 2074 Aurelius Road.
